Everyone will receive a sourdough starter, dough to take home and bake, my resources and recipes packet, and access to The Sourdough Mama Facebook group and continued access for questions and support.

What is the workshop like? 

​

The class is a hybrid style Beginner Sourdough class that includes a presentation and some hands-on time. I use slides with photos/videos to walk through the information. Hands-on elements include making a starter and shaping dough to take home and bake the next day.  The class is 3 hours and I will need 1 hour to set up prior to the class and 30 min  to clean up.

Location and what's needed?

​

Your house will work as long as you have a large island or countertops that are dough friendly. I will need a TV with HDMI hookup for me to connect my computer to and a space for people to sit/view the TV. A large table is ideal for when we make our starters or a kitchen island can be used for this as well. If your space isn't ideal, options include renting a space from venues nearby venues such as Kids By The Sea Preschool (sometimes free!), Communal Coffee, or Peerspace.

How many people can attend?​

​

I can provide materials for up to 20 guests!  A minimum of 4 participants or $500 is required to hold the event.

Pricing?​

​

In most cases the class will cost $125 per participant with a minimum commitment of $500. For example, if you only have 3 participants but are willing to pay a little more, you can still hold the class for $500.  A $100 deposit is required to hold the date (refundable up to 3 days before the event). Payment is due 3 days before the event and the deadline for a headcount is 3 days before the event-materials are prepped days ahead so this is necessary for planning. I can offer a cash discount of 10% off!
